Privacy policy

Noga CV works without an account. Your CVs are stored on your device. Previews and PDFs are made on your device. Content reaches our server only when you import a CV file, ask for AI suggestions or send feedback.

Who we are

This policy covers the mobile app Noga CV, listed in the stores as “AI Resume Builder - CV Maker” and formerly called “CV Expert”, for Android and iOS. The app is provided by Noga Apps, Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Contact: [email protected].

No account

You do not sign up or log in. When you first open the app it creates a random anonymous identifier. We use it to connect your requests to our server and your purchases, without knowing who you are.

Your CVs

The CVs you create, and any profile photo you add, are stored on your device. The preview and the PDF are made on your device.

Content is sent to our server at api.nogacv.com only in these cases:

• Importing a CV. The file you choose is uploaded. Its text is sent to our AI provider to be read into CV fields. The file and the CV read from it are stored on our server under your anonymous identifier.
• AI writing suggestions. The text you ask to improve, with the related parts of that CV (such as job title, summary, recent roles and skills), is sent to our AI provider to write the suggestion. We do not store it.
• Feedback. A rating and comment you send are stored with your anonymous identifier.

Our AI provider is OpenAI or Google Gemini.

Earlier versions of the app (CV Expert) stored CVs on our server. Those copies may still be there under your anonymous identifier.

Our server keeps standard access logs, which include your IP address. Data is sent over an encrypted connection (HTTPS).

Third-party services

The app uses the following services. They receive device and advertising identifiers, app usage, crash and performance data, and purchase history, none of it linked to your name. Each one handles data under its own privacy policy.

• Google AdMob, to show ads in the free version. AdMob may use your device's advertising identifier where your device settings allow it. How Google uses data from apps.
• Google Analytics for Firebase, to understand how the app is used. Firebase privacy.
• Firebase Crashlytics, to receive crash reports. Firebase privacy.
• Firebase Remote Config, to change app settings without an update. Firebase privacy.
• RevenueCat, to manage purchases and subscriptions, using the anonymous app user identifier. RevenueCat privacy policy.

This website

The website nogacv.com uses Google Analytics only if you accept cookies in the banner shown on your first visit. If you decline, or your browser sends a Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal, Google Analytics is not loaded and no analytics cookies are set. When you accept, Google Analytics records the pages you view, clicks on the Google Play button, your approximate location (country and city, worked out from your IP address) and your device and browser type. It is not used for advertising. You can change your choice at any time with “Cookie settings” at the bottom of every page. Google privacy policy.

The website also uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to count page visits and measure loading speed. It sets no cookies and does not identify you, and it is not loaded for visitors in the European Union. Cloudflare privacy policy.

Links from this website to Google Play carry a tag that names the page you came from, so we can see which pages lead to installs. The tag says nothing about you.

What the app does not collect

The app does not collect your location, your contacts or audio from your microphone. It uses your camera or photo library only when you choose a profile photo.

Children

Noga CV is not directed at children under 13.

Keeping and deleting your data

Deleting a CV in the app, or uninstalling the app, removes that data from your device. Data on our server (imported files, the CVs read from them, CVs from earlier versions and feedback) is kept until you ask us to delete it. To get a copy of it or have it deleted, email [email protected].

Changes

If this policy changes, we will publish the new version on this page and update the date at the top.
